We’ve previously discussed the advantages of responsive design
—developing websites that adapt automatically for the viewer’s display. Croell Redi-Mix
, recognizing these advantages, recently launched their new website, built with responsive design.
Croell understood the importance of optimizing their new site for all platforms—desktop, tablets, and smartphones. 25% of traffic to their old site was from mobile devices, so it was important to ensure customers using these platforms could effectively engage with the new site.
To increase customer engagement, Far Reach also built a custom locations map so customers can easily find Croell’s 130+ locations around the country. This tool allows search by location as well as by service, and clearly displays the locations on an interactive map.
The new site is more reflective of Croell’s commitment to quality, does a better job of featuring their projects, and will serve as a powerful marketing tool thanks to the user-friendly Sitefinity content management system
(CMS) on which the site is built.
See Croell’s responsive design in action by going to www.Croell.com
on any device. On a desktop, watch the website adapt as you change your browser size.
