Problem/Opportunity:
- Service organization needed a website where participants could purchase Spread the Care cards and contribute to causes
- For the program to succeed, it was necessary that participants be able to track the impact of their good deeds
Action:
- Built a website with eCommerce capabilities that easily allows visitors to purchase cards and donate online
- Included an interactive map developed in Silverlight that allows all participants to track the journey their card takes and the impact it makes along the way
Result:
- Spread the Care has a vehicle for selling cards and collecting contributions via their new website, as well as tracking the reach of their program.
- Cause participants receive gratifying feedback by being able to visually witness the impact of paying forward one good deed.
